Shakespeare Troupe Verse Workshops | Mondays throughout South Florida

Service Description

Shakespeare Troupe Inc. is developing its resources in the three counties of South Florida. The goal is to create groups of actors in each county prepared to act the roles of Shakespeare. That requires experience in speaking verse, and it's why we are starting a Master Class to prepare you as Shakespeare Troupe begins booking the tour of schools and public venues for the 2022-23 season. Gain a profound understanding of the verse and text with Peter Galman, Broadway actor and Founder of Shakespeare Troupe. Exercises include: Warm-up, Body, Voice, Text, Staging, Scenes from our repertory: King Lear, Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, and new adaptations of Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Then, learn how to manage acting roles in all plays using scrolls, Shakespeare Troupe’s signature tool. Register by calling 754-228-7228 or emailing Space is limited to 15 actors at each venue.
